1x03 - Blowing Off Steam:
At The Rock, the girls continue on with Kaylies father as the step-in coach without any direction but are surprised when Lauren, Steve and a new coach (a world winning gymnastic) arrive. Their new coach introduces strict workout schedules for the girls, and Emily, Payson, and Kaylie decide to go to a high school party before the new coach's strict workout regime begins.
At the party, Emily runs into Razor, her co-worker at the pizza-shack, Kaylie fights and ends her relationship with Carter, and Payson thinks she's wasting her time there. Meanwhile, Lauren's birthday goes wrong when Summer arrives at the dinner party, so Lauren decides to leave and go to the party, where she meets Carter. Then, Carter and Lauren have sex together for the first time.
